Mom: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking an apple pie
Daughter: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking an apple pie and bread.
Son: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking apple pie, bread, corn on the cob.
Dad: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking apple pie, bread, corn on the cob and deviled eggs.
Grandpa: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking apple pie, bread, corn on the cob, deviled eggs, eclairs.
Grandma: I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking apple pie, bread, corn on the cob, deviled eggs, eclairs and fried chicken.
The game continues all the way through the alphabet or until you reach your destination.

Did you play this game while traveling in the car with your family to summer vacation destinations? Many are not traveling this summer, but we can still picnic in a nearby park. National Tutoring Survey
Thank you for taking the National Tutoring Survey. The response for the 2020 survey included 1244 Tutors, 420 Teachers, 191 Principals/Building Liaisons and 56 District Facilitators for a total of 1901 responses.

Literacy Learning/Art Project
In this month’s Literacy Learning section, Lori Deubner brings a bit of fun to your summer and demonstrates how to make a pop-up card. Pop-up cards are a great twist on ordinary greeting cards and can be simply created to delight your Oasis student, members of your family or friends. Watch Lori make a pop-up card for a student using simple supplies and techniques. Then, go wild with your own creation!

Families are home together and yard games are a way to make memories and stay active together! Here are some suggestions:
Others include: Hide and Seek, Red Light/Green Light and Mother/Father May I. I would guess that you may have some creative yard game ideas that are family favorites.
