Details

Before reading, explore the meaning of the word ‘grudge’ with the student. After reading the book, the student can journal using the beginning sentence stem, ‘I can be kind/considerate/forgiving by…’ The tutor can then create a two column chart on paper or a whiteboard to explore the similarities and differences between the word ‘grudge’ and ‘grape.’
