Details
For this session plan, the tutors can encourage the student to draw a happy face on one index card and a frown on the other, prior to reading the story. Throughout the reading of the story, the student can hold up the appropriate index card to indicate how the engine might be feeling. After, the student can complete ‘I CAN’ sentences in their journal.
