In this session plan, the tutor can divide one page of the student’s journal into six boxes. While reading, pause each time an object is equally divided, so the student can draw the object in one of the six squares. One additional activity includes using the included ‘Lines of Symmetry Capital Letter Sorting Cards’ worksheet, so the student can identify how the letters are vertically or horizontally symmetrical.
