Details

This session plan can be paired with any book on sports. With this session plan, you can use a newspaper, magazine article or book photo of a sports figure or event with your student. The tutor and student create a microphone out of paper or aluminum foil (or the tutor can bring a toy microphone). The tutor encourages the student to dictate questions that they would ask the sports figure in the photo and writes them in the journal. The tutor and student have a mock interview with the questions.
